The USG sponsors Ethics Awareness Week each year to reinforce our collective commitment to an ethical culture and our shared values and expectations.  Activities highlight our Core Values: Integrity, Excellence, Accountability, and Respect.  Please join these events happening at GCSU!

• Shuttle Stop Smiles

    • Welcoming students to campus with a warm smile and encouragement for the day because well-being is the foundation for good judgment. Good minds make good choices!
• Campus Shred Event
  • Thursday, November 5, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm  
    • Purge records and files in accordance with the USG Records Retention Schedule. Approximately 9,200 pounds of paper were shredded during the 2025 event! For more information, refer to the Records Management resource page or contact your department's Record Retention Campus Contact.

• Bystander Intervention Training in A&S 275
  • Friday, November 6, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
    • This training is open to all students and employees.
• Pop Tab Campus-Wide Collection Drive
  • Small tabs, big impact: Turn your everyday aluminum cans into life-saving support for families by joining our campus-wide pop tab collection drive for the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  Drop off donations in the container located at the SGA workroom window near Donahoo Lounge.
• Legal Affairs Info Session
  • Fast-track your knowledge on contracts, policy, and open records with this quick virtual training. Link to come.
• Ethical Marketing Survey
  • The survey examines social media consumption and evaluates the use and ethics of AI in professional settings and the marketplace. Link to come.
  • Visit GCSU's AI website to explore AI programs, initiatives, tools, and resources, including guidance for effective and responsible use of AI.
• Annual Compliance Training and Ethics Training Refresher
  • Complete the required employee training in GeorgiaVIEW by November 30, 2026.
